Intense line work; asemic writing in darkest darks are offset by a curtain of soft translucent broken colour. Energetic contrasts with calm, with intense pops of colour to create a kaleidoscopic effect. The shapes are reminiscent of Chinese gardens incorporating combinations of the four primary elements: water, plants, rocks and structures. Named after the Chinese town Suzhou which is reknowned for its Unesco World Heritage gardens dating back to the 600 AD. Created for quiet contemplation shimmering reflective spaces; organic topiaries mingle with architectural features.
